Ominous: giving the impression that something bad or unpleasant is going to happen; 
Abstemious: not self-indulgent, esp. when eating and drinking
Pugnacious: eager or quick to argue, quarrel, or fight
Plunder: steal goods from (a place or person), typically using force and in a time of war or civil disorder
Garrulous: excessively talkative, esp. on trivial matters
Revile: criticize in an abusive or angrily insulting manner
Tryst: a private, romantic rendezvous between lovers
Aspirant: (of a person) having ambitions to achieve something, typically to follow a particular career

Thrifty: Able to handle money wisely

Concede: To give in or surrender
Absolved: Freed from guilt or blame
Plight: A bad situation, a predicament
Quiver: A portable container for arrows
Indictment: The situation of having been charged with a crime
Aggravate: To make worse

In two weeks, I will have been doing these posts for a year. I'll see if I can continue with the same pace or lower it to a bimonthly one but in the meantime, write beautifully and be at peace.
